- Organizations that perform data sanitization activities (including logical erasure, degaussing, or physical destruction of data-bearing media) must also maintain certification to R2v3 Appendix B – Data Sanitization.
- Certification status must be current and verifiable on the SERI R2 Certified Facilities Directory.
